YouTube can be an addictive beast, especially with its recommended videos. I sometimes found myself spending far too much time watching the next recommended videos after only intending to watch the original video. Now extensions already exist to solve this problem. However I thought this would be a good opportunity to build a browser extension myself which I have wanted to do for a while. So that is the origin of this extension.
Remove YouTube Recommended Videos is a simple Firefox extension developed to stop YouTube recommended videos from taking up people’s time. It removes all recommended videos from YouTube pages to stop people (like myself) from getting sucked into many hours of watching videos.
